The editors commissioned me to write a profile piece on local artist Lisa Marie-Price about her large-scale artworks and her process of making paint from foraged materials.
One of the best things about my job is getting to meet and talk to different people, including very talented artists and creative people like Lisa-Marie Price.
Writing during the first Covid-19 UK lockdown meant I couldn't go and visit her studio. But we had a great conversation and her detailed and beautiful artworks are featured in the piece.
